My name is Miss Woodward, and I am thrilled to be working with your children as the 6th-grade Learning Support teacher at Salisbury Middle School.
While this is my fourth year teaching special education in the Salisbury Township School District, it is my first year teaching 6th grade at SMS after spending three wonderful years teaching elementary autistic support at Salisbury Elementary.
My path in education is rooted in both hands-on experience and specialized training:
Background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA): Prior to entering the classroom, I worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing 1:1 behavioral support to children on the autism spectrum.
Education: I hold an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education from Northampton Community College, a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Moravian University, and a Master's degree in Special Education from East Stroudsburg University.
My primary goal is to foster an inclusive, supportive environment where every student feels confident, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. I look forward to partnering with you to make this a successful, rewarding year for your child!
