The mission of the Saline Music Boosters organization is to enhance our schools' music programs and to support our music students & staff. The sole criterion for membership is that you have a child in the Saline (Michigan) music program. If your child is in any music class or ensemble in the Saline Area Schools, then you are officially a member of the Saline Music Boosters organization!
The Saline Music Boosters provide monetary and volunteer support to all of the directors of music classes grades 5-12. The money that the Saline Music Parents raise is for use outside of the money budgeted by the school district and is budgeted annually by the head of the music department. The Saline Music Boosters provide scholarships to students attending summer camps, as well as money that each director can use for discretionary purposes such as clinicians, small purchases etc. Saline Music Boosters also provides money for families who cannot afford music books, reeds, and other basic supplies.
The Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra is passionately committed to enriching the culture of the region. We strive to attract, inspire and educate the most diverse audience possible, foster a growing appreciation for excellent music and regional talent, and provide imaginative programming through community involvement.
