Casey had shown great achievement by working diligently and persistently takes action to improve her grade.

Benjamin has improved in social studies class by working hard and raising his grade up by one letter.

Valeria is an outstanding student! She is such an overachiever. She completes all of her work on time and is always engaged in class.

Tony has shown immense progress in Social Studies. He finishes all of his assignments, asks for help, and volunteers when he feels confident. I am very proud of his improvement, and he is very proud of himself as well!

Argel is being recognized for excellence as a result of his commitment to bring his best effort to rigorous tasks and his consistency in engaging in learning processes. Argel consistently shows up to class, actively participates in academic dialogue, and uses learning strategies to help him acquire knowledge and prove his learning in History class. Most importantly, he is always respectful and kind to others!

Daisy is being recognized for improvement from quarter 1 to quarter 2. Her attendance improved as well as her academic performance in class. Daisy engages in academic discussions, uses her resources, and asks questions as they come up. Daisy also brings a positive attitude towards learning, making all interactions pleasant.

Kimberly has consistently shown great achievement in our social studies class this year. She asks great questions, participates, and helps her peers when needed. She exemplifies what it means to have a growth mindset and always gives her best effort. I am so proud of the way she pushes herself and I am sure she will continue to do great things this year and beyond!

Jun is an excellent student! I have seen tremendous growth in both his achievement and confidence this past semester. I am constantly inspired by his hard work ethic and perseverance. Jun is always looking to improve his work and learn from his mistakes. I'm proud to have him as a member of our class and know his mindset will take him far.

Alejandro always maintains a positive attitude, does his best, and conscientiously turns in all his work. He earned an "A" for the Fourth Quarter.

Mia regularly pays attention to detail and has an inquisitive mind that searches for answers to questions. She earned an "A+" for the Fourth Quarter.

Lawrence is an extremely hardworking student. He frequently participates in class, helps his classmates when needed, and performs excellently on all classwork and tests. He has grown a lot in such a short time and I am excited to see his continued growth this semester.

Maria has grown in many ways over the last semester. She puts 100% into everything she does and truly cares about her academic success. Maria has improved greatly this semester with her confidence in reading and writing and her overall class participation. Keep up the good work Maria!

Andrea has shown great academic achievement in social studies 8 by utilizing her resources in class to complete classwork and assessments. She is prepared for class daily with materials and follows our classroom routines consistently. I am impressed with her growth and commitment to learning skills that she can use in high school and beyond.

Amy has improved in Social Studies 8 class by making sure she uses her resources when completing assessments. Early on, she struggled with using her notes when completing tasks for class but towards the end of Semester 1, she was using her notes consistently and was able to meet standard on our final for the semester.
