Newsela STEM is a library of articles, informational text, and videos aligned to science topics. Our paid subscription gives us access to various text collections such as CER activities and TUVA data sets. This resources also contains text sets aligned to each OpenSciEd and FOSS unit. The texts themselves include a range of optional resources such as CFU questions, comprehension quizzes, graphic organizers, and more.
Gizmos is a library of interactive simulations and virtual labs for science courses. This is a paid subscription, and students and teachers access the online platform through Clever (Explore Learning App).
PhET is a free library of interactive simulations for science and math. As a district, we have access to offline access and the new Studio feature which allows teachers to push out preset simulations.
