COURSE LEADS
SUHSD Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) focus on the following questions:
What is it we expect our students to learn?
How will we know when they have learned it?
How will we respond when some students do not learn?
How will we respond when some students already know it?
The SUHSD PLC Tool intends to encourage collaboration, consistency and efficiency across the district by supporting site level PLCs as they address the following:
SVFT Collaboration Team Language: A group of people working interdependently to achieve a common goal for which the members are held mutually accountable.
Board Goal: Increase the achievement of all students through effective instruction, engaging curriculum and aligned assessments.
LCAP Action: PLC teams will identify students needing targeted interventions via common formative assessment results, including IABs. Teachers will design, implement and evaluate the interventions.
District Tech Plan Action: PLC and department agendas and meeting minutes will be recorded digitally and shared between members and administration.
