Weekly Goals and Objectives:

Fifth grade students will end the year with a unit focused on Fractured Fairytales. Students will have the opportunity to compare and contrast traditional fairytales with modern (fractured) versions. Students will specifically look at the point of view and perspective from which each story has been told as well as author's craft techniques. Students will engage in writing their own fractured fairytale from a unique perspective.
