Each year, a diverse group of youth leaders all across the North Shore work closely with one another in a 6 ½ week paid summer Seed Crew experience. During this experience, youth grow and distribute healthy food to the community in various methods, learn about the complexities of the food system, learn about social injustices, oppression, and key leadership skills. At the end of the 6 ½ week experience, youth will have tools to make lasting, positive impacts in their communities and will gain newfound relationships with the land and each other.
Camp Eastman at the Torigian Family YMCA is a seasonal day camp program for girls and boys ages four to fifteen. At Camp Eastman, children will make new friends, discover new passions, explore creativity and develop skills through a wide range of fun activities in the great outdoors.

In this week long program hosted by Salem State University, we will explore multiple analog photography techniques, including cyanotypes, Photograms, how to use a film camera, how to expose a roll of film, and silver gelatin print making."
Our Summer STEM programs are one-week courses designed to provide students the opportunity to experience hands-on science in a biotechnology laboratory.
The KidWind Offshore Wind Academy will take place at the Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzards Bay, from the late afternoon of Sunday, July 19th to mid-day Friday, July 24th, 2026. To apply for the Summer 2026 Academy, please submit your application by May 8th at 4:00 PM. 2 teacher references are required as part of the application.
During the HMI Summer Term, rising 10th, 11th, and 12th graders from across the country engage in a unique summer experience in the Rocky Mountains. They discover their best selves over two backpacking trips, exploring the reaches of their potential and how to lead others. Through a series of writing workshops, students find their voices, improve their prose, and gain experience with college-level writing, finally producing a polished essay that can be used for college applications or as a compelling personal statement.

Led by current West Point cadets, Summer Leaders Experience (SLE) is a week-long immersion into the academic, military, and social life of a West Point cadet. At SLE, you will explore West Point from all angles, including our high-tech educational facilities, team-building athletic activities, and realistic military training.

Students will leave this program with an introduction to the fundamentals of architectural practice and engage in a program tailored to the student’s unique interests and professional goals.

Girls Who Code is excited to offer Pathways this summer from Monday, June 29th, through Friday, August 14th! This seven-week program is a free, flexible online learning opportunity for students who want to learn coding at their own pace.
Please note that the primary 2026 Pathways application for our summer program passed on April 15th. However, students can still complete our online application to be directly added to our Waitlist! We will continue sending offers to students as additional spots become available through late May. Waitlisted students will also receive priority consideration for our 2026 Fall Pathways program, if eligible.
