Dual Enrollment

It's time for Spring 2022 Dual Enrollment. Please see the list below for available courses. Checks should be made payable to SHS. Myschoolbucks.com accepts credit/debit cards. If you have never dual enrolled you will need to fill out the VWCC Application and all three forms below. If you are currently dual enrolling a course, you only need to fill out the registration form. Please contact Suzanne Mangum with questions. smangum@salem.k12.va.us

IB English 1 - Dunham (only for students that dual enrolled 1^st semester) $129

AP Eng. Lang & Comp - Watkins (only for students that dual enrolled 1^st semester) $129

Auto Tech 2 - Wray $172 (only for students that dual enrolled 1^st semester)

**IB Biology 2 and Gourmet Cuisine are grant funded. Form must be turned in for dual enrollment (only for students that dual enrolled 1^st semester)

Use this link to apply and receive your empl ID# in order to dual enroll a class

Due to Covid-19 restrictions the testing center is closed for placement testing until further notice. High School aged students who did not take the Placement Test prior to COVID-19 that would like to enroll in dual enrollment English, history, math, science or other classes that transfer to a 4 year college must have a 3.0 GPA for admission. Individual courses may have additional requirements. Please refer to the on-line college catalog to review course descriptions for pre-or concurrent requirements, and to the chart found under the https://www.virginiawestern.edu/dualenrollment/placement.php
