About me
This is my 7th year teaching. I obtained my Masters degree in History, with a minor in education from Sul Ross State University.
I, as many others, have had many teachers in my life. As I recall, the ones who showed kindness and interest towards me in the classroom were the classes I tried my hardest in. Teachers who did not show any interest or kindness soon saw my grades slipping in their classroom. I could not maintain interest in a class where I felt I was not valued. It became clear: kindness can make or break a student's experience. This realization fueled my desire to become a teacher – one who fosters a welcoming environment and empowers students to overcome life's hurdles.
