Hi! I am Kaitlynn LeBrasseur, and this is my fourth year at Lincoln Middle School. Click Here to read about why I got into teaching. I have a master's degree in biology from Angelo State University. Science is my favorite because it's all about solving problems with creative thinking. I love animals. My partner and I have around 70 tarantulas, two dozen snakes, several box turtles, a couple of Russian tortoises (even though they aren't rushin' anywhere... get it? Because they are tortoises?), some salamanders, lizards, toads, frogs, two cats and a dog. I also love to run, roller skate, and I am a huge Disney fan. My favorite thing about teaching is inspiring students to try something they have never done or learn something they thought might be a little difficult. The best part is when it finally clicks and we can celebrate their successes. I also really like connecting with my students through shared interests. Here is a link to a video where I introduce myself and tell you a little bit about what I do: Video
