Eva Winchester is a student at Saint Ursula Academy High School, with a passion for preserving nature and engineering. She strives to ignite a spark within her classmates, inspiring them to embrace the boundless opportunities presented by Global Learning and STEM fields. She plays guitar in the SUA guitar ensemble, has a past in Irish dancing, meets with her Girl Scout Troop 43130, and serves as Chief Chapters Officer for the INTERalliance Leadership Council. She currently lives in Cincinnati, Ohio, but her mom is from the Czech Republic and her dad grew up in Barre, Vermont. Her sister is an eminence fellow at The Ohio State University. She has two cats each with very different personalities, their names being "Rainbow" and "Fuzzy." In her free time, she loves travelling and trying new foods with friends. Some of her travels have been to places like Italy, the Czech Republic (to visit family), the Dominican Republic, Canada, and Japan, and Germany. She has also received awards such as the NCWIT honorable mention, NCWIT Ohio Affiliate, Sons of the Revolution, Marian Award, and Girl Scout Gold Award. The intricacies of evolving technology are especially interesting to her as she explores the many tech fields that could be part of her future as a Mechanical Engineering Major at The Ohio State University.
