About Me
This is my seventh year as the Middle School Religion Teacher at Saint Theresa. I taught Middle School Religious Education for over 20 years as a volunteer catechist and I am very excited for the opportunity to help students grow in their faith in a formal school setting.
I am a former military spouse and have lived in many different places, including two different stays in Germany. I have seven children who were all born in different places, 10 grandchildren, two dogs, and two cats.
In my free time I like to read, garden, explore, spend time with my family, and play with my pets.
I am honored to serve on the Sophia Teachers Master Teacher Council for the 2026-2027 school year.
No one learns the same way. To support this I differentiate instruction in many different ways. I use text books, slides, projects, videos, music, games, and hands on projects. Last year the students used technology to create slides, Padlets, websites, videos, Kahoots, discussion boards, and comic strips. The students also created hands on projects that included cards, posters, and essays.
