Hello VBS families! 

   We hope your children are having lots of fun at Vacation Bible School and coming home each day with lots of stories! 

We have a SPECIAL ATTENTION NOTE about traffic when you are arriving to pick up your children and teens on Thursday and Friday this week!

      On Thursday, July 18th, our parish will be hosting a Wake and a funeral between 10:00 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.  And, on Friday, another funeral has come in and that family and guests will begin arriving about 10 a.m. and leaving about 11:45 a.m. as well.  On those days, our VBS team will re-route the children away from Good Shepherd Square, the Zwilling Hallway and the Gathering Area of the church and direct the children and teens to take alternate routes to Scuba Snacks and Bible Adventures. 

         The Vacation Bible School drop-off between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. for incoming traffic to our property will still be ONE WAY from Dover Center Road to Douglas Road on Thursday and Friday of this week.   But, because there is such a variety of family drivers, please let whoever is picking up your child know that the only entrance to and from the property on Thursday and Friday between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. will be from Douglas Road!  Looking ahead, it’s good to plan to arrive on Friday by 11:40 a.m. to see the children’s closing performance of all the songs that they learned this week.  A PowerPoint slide show will also be shown highlighting their VBS adventures!  We expect Friday to conclude about 12:15 p.m. (for children) and 12:30 p.m. (for teens following their wrap-up meeting).
