SEPTEMBER 2026 Pre-K NEWSLETTER 

I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing summer filled with sunshine and good moments. 

I can’t wait to hear how everyone’s summer went. I was able to take lots of short trips with family and friends and explored places I had never seen. And I am back at my desk, fully recharged, and excited to dive back into a new school year!

My monthly newsletters are mainly designed to keep parents up-to-date on the month’s activities. They can also be a resource for book orders or dates to remember. I like to keep in touch with any change of plans or new information, like field trips, school pictures, etc. and I hear most parents put it on a family bulletin board or on the refrigerator. The great thing is, even if you lose your hard copy, you can also access it from the school website! It can be found under the “Current Families” tab.

September studies include letters Ss, Aa, and Ii, numbers 0,1,2, the color red and circles. 

Our themes are School Rules, Apples, Making Friends, and Monarch Migration. 

I like to give Scholastic Book ordering info in each newsletter, too. Scholastic sent flyers this month, but it’s not always the case. Our classroom code is GZX4H. The link is https://orders.scholastic.com/GZX4H  Please have your Sept. order in by 9/11.

Important Dates~ 

Sept. 1  -  First Day of school

                Back To School Night 5:00-6:00 p.m.

Sept. 7  -  Labor Day, No school

Sept. 11-  Scholastic book order due (Pre-K)

Sept. 24 - School pictures

Oct. 9   -  No school, In-Service
