Pencil supply may be kept at home,  4 sharp pencils should come to school each day.  The supply of glue sticks may be sent in, they will be kept in a container marked with your child's name along with their paints, markers and extra box of Crayola crayons.  Children may not use a pencil box, soft sided pencil cases work best.   

Helpful Hints:  The large size glue sticks last much longer than the regular ones.  Plastic folders will last longer than paper folders BUT the papers fall out of the plastic type of folder and make it very difficult for your child to stay organized.  

Second Grade Supply List:

1 large soft sided pencil cases (I prefer the cases sold at school.  No hard pencil boxes.)

3  folders with pockets on the bottom (plastic folders do not work well)

4  sharpened pencils everyday (Please buy a supply of pencils for the year. Supply will be kept at home.  They will need to be sharpened at home every day.)

2  red pencils (no pens)

2  yellow highlighters

3  boxes 24 of Crayola Crayons 

1  box of colored pencils

1  set of 10 Crayola Washable Markers Broad Tip

1 set of Crayola Watercolor Paints (8 colors)

1  6 inch ruler with centimeters (available from school, no 12 inch rulers)

1  pair of scissors (METAL BLADES)

12  glue sticks ( Larger ones last longer.  Supply will be kept in school.)

2  rolls of paper towels

2  boxes of tissues

2  containers of Clorox or Lysol antibacterial cleaning wipes

1 package of baby wipes
