Kawa of Care & the iPad's native camera app:
Teacher to take lots of photos of learners collecting their iPad, returning to working space and moving with their iPad and using the camera app.
Take photos within the class to start, then move outside once the routine of Hug Hold has been established.
Create a Class Kawa of Care using photos of learners doing the correct thing.
Learners move around the class taking photos of a designated type e.g 5 green things.
Learners use the Photo app to delete any photos so only 5 remain.
Today we are learning how to...
use the camera app on our iPad
press the shutter button once (holding it down takes a burst of photos)
delete photos we do not want

Let's look at some photos on the TV.
What is good about this photo?
What could be better?
Let's make a shared list on the board about what makes a good photo...
e.g. good lighting (not in front of a window), in focus (keeping iPad still), not too much in the background
