SCORE is the Student Committee on Research Expansion!

SCORE is a committee whose goal is to help expand, advocate, and celebrate undergraduate research and professional development on Saint Mary’s College campus. We operate under four pillars: opportunity, advocacy, celebration, and empowerment with the mission to inspire the future female scientists, mathematicians, and engineers of tomorrow. As a committee, we wholeheartedly believe that research is an academic experience that can teach the students at Saint Mary’s beyond the classroom lecture and develop them into more well-rounded scholars. We work as a team in collaboration with the college’s administration and faculty to help provide the students with intuitive and insightful research experiences and the opportunity to develop professional skills. Additionally, we strive to help create a culture that celebrates the achievements garnered by conducting research and improving professional development.
