My current work explores objects as they systematically relate to one another. On a micro scale, these works deal with the unbreakable, magical, and sometimes frightening bond a mother has to her children. On a macro scale, they touch on the notion that we are all small parts of a whole. Like it or not, we will forever be a part of something larger than ourselves. We will split, grow and change, but there will always be a common base, a foundation of sorts.

As an artist, understanding human nature has become ever more important. Factual and theoretical sides are only two major facets in my work. The other component is the human one, which is multi-faceted: nature and nurture, the parts that mold us, things we can’t see, touch, or explain, the parts that make us who we are.
