Work Experience
Patient Care Provider (Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center)
December 2022-June 2023
PCP in the ICU
I started this job the semester before clinicals began in order to help better prepare myself for clinicals. I learned the essentials of taking care for patients as well as being comfortable in the hospital setting. I provided care for patients such as hygiene care, ambulation, taking vitals and blood sugars, assisting patients with meals, and working collaboratively with the nurses.
Server (Stop 50 Wood-fired Pizza)
May of 2022-current
This is a family-owned restaurant that has helped develop my abilities to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and communicate with customers and co-workers. My title is a server but I am very flexible and can help out with any task needed. I’ve been asked to host, run the register, take over the to-go orders, and even help back in the kitchen.
Sales Associate (Eddie Bauer)
November of 2019-current
I started this job in high school and to this day still get called in to work as needed. I credit this job for giving me “people skills”. I help customers shop based on their current needs and have great product knowledge to share with customers.

(2) Service Retreat to downtown Chicago
On this retreat, we had collected hygiene supplies throughout the school year and at the end of the semester packaged them into care-bags. We went to downtown Chicago and hand delivered these bags to the folks living under bypasses. Both times I went on this retreat, it was in the dead of winter, so we would also spend a few hours a day at the local soup kitchen. We helped prepare supper as well as packed up snacks and sandwiches that people could take with them. This retreat was such an eye-opening experience and talking with these folks humbled me. Many were veterans, while others just got dealt a bad hand. I will never forget some of the conversations I had with these wonderful people.
Sharing Meadows
I went to Camp Sharing Meadows multiple times in High School. Camp Sharing Meadows is a place where other-abled adults can go for the day. Camp Sharing Meadows gives individuals the ability to be self-sufficient and embrace there own unique skills and hobbies. Most of the times I went, I would go out to one of the barns and help with things like cracking walnuts, organzing the barn, transporting wood, and anything else they needed. I really loved going to Camp Sharing Meadows and hanging out with the members,
Community Food Pantry of Saint Joseph County
The Community Food Pantry was one of my favorite places to go in college. My soccer team and I would go there often to help pack boxes and organize food. This food pantry serves a huge portion of the St. Joseph area and I was always taken back at how many people needed help with providing for their family. I enjoyed helping behind the scenes and getting to be a part of helping the community that I lived in. I have to admit, I really enjoyed talking with the lead organizer, who was a retired Chicago police officer.
South Bend Police Department
A part of being on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, I had the responsibility to organize a service project for my team to do every semester. The spring semester of 2024 was a tough one, new regulations allowed for us to practice more often which left everyone with less free-time. I had a hard time finding a date for the team to all be able to go somewhere for service. I had to be creative, and decided to ask everyone to pitch in a couple of dollars and write letters to the South Bend Police Department as a way of thanking them for all they do. Me and the other two captains then hand-delivered them and got to talk with some of the officers. It was a really cool experience.
