Here are some suggested learning activities to showcase on your Time Travel Tours site.
Be curious and creative. Feel free to suggest original activities to your teacher!
Select ten significant events that have occurred at your destination. Present these on a timeline. Each event should include a brief description.
Choose a famous landmark from your destination. Create a Slides presentation, sharing facts about this landmark. What makes this landmark worth seeing? When was it built? How was it built? Are there activities your guests can participate in at this landmark?
Imagine you are someone who lives at your destination (for example, a soldier in the war, or a construction worker on the Eiffel tower). Write a journal entry, showing what life was like at that time.
Script and record (audio or video) an interview with someone from your destination. You might choose someone famous, or a stranger from your destination. Your interview should cover what it's like to live in that time and place.
To keep your guests from getting bored on their journey, you will need to provide an activity book. This page of your activity book will feature a destination-themed crossword. Your crossword must include at least twelve words with sensible clues.
You are welcome to add your own destination-themed puzzles and trivia to your activity book.
Check out this example Tour of The War for Independence. Present an event or series of events from your destination using Google Tour Builder. (This will be easier if you have already completed your timeline.)
