Students: Next to the SAT, this is probably the most important test you will take during your teen years. You have already invested a lot in your education, do not stop now! Think of this test as a celebration of learning -- show what you know!

GENERAL HSPT HINTS

The HSPT is tight on time allowances for each section of the test.

Visit websites giving additional practice with synonyms, antonyms, analogies, and logic (a few are listed below). Check out a different review book or visit HSPT practice sites. (I have given some resources below.)

TEST OVERVIEW

Verbal Skills - 16 min/section - 60 questions - 16 sec/answer

Quantitative - 30 min//section - 52 questions - 34 sec/answer

Reading Comprehension - 25 min/section - 62 questions - 24 sec/answer

Mathematics - 45 min/section - 64 questions - 42 sec/answer

Language - 25 min/section - 60 questions - 25 sec/answer

*It is important to check your work if you have completed a section early.
