Reading- This week in reading, A Place to Play. We will also work on using sequence to summarize our story. Our focus will be identifying the author's purpose within our stories. Our high frequency words this week are; always, day, nothing, things, stays, everything, and stays. Please practice them at home.

Spelling Words- my, by, try, sunny, handy, fly, cry, lucky, silly, puppy

Math- The children should be practicing their math facts every night. We will begin Topic 10- adding two-digit numbers .

Religion- The children will be learning the importance of asking for forgiveness

Social Studies- This week will discuss our neighborhoods.

Science- This week will discuss and learn all about energy.
