Native American Art of Weaving

The oldest known woven heart was made by the Danish fairy tale author Hans Christian Andersen in 1860, and hangs in the Hans Christian Andersen House today.

These ornaments were originally made as Christmas decoration.

We have adapted the idea and used it for Valentine's decoration because it is easy to make.

This project is also a great fine motor skill exercise.
