Summer Reading & Summer Math

Dear Parents and Students,

                Welcome to Third Grade! I am very excited that you will be coming to third grade in September.  I hope you enjoy your summer! Over the summer, please choose one of the following books and complete the Book Report Paper, Character Analysis (You may select any character from the story you read), and Book Review attached.  Remember, you only need to complete the worksheets for one book!

1. How to Be Cool in the Third Grade - Besty Duffey

2. Judy Moody - Megan McDonald

3.   J.D. and the Great Barber Battle by J. Dillard  

4. Ramona Quimby, Age 8 – Beverly Cleary

  The book report will be due the first day of school and will be your first ELA grade. 

Remember to keep a log of any books you read over the summer and turn it in the first week of school!
