Christmas Pageant is Tuesday night at 7:00. Students should be there by 6:15. Mr. Peterson will let you know where to go exactly.

First in Math requirement for the remainder of December: 1000 stickers-if these are earned by Dec 22 there will be no Christmas break assignment.
Religion-Advent Packet is due on Tuesday, Dec 13.
We will have a Penance service on Monday, December 12 for all those who wish to participate.
Christmas Pageant- Christmas Pageant is Tuesday, December 19th. All students are required to attend. It will be a religion grade for 7th and 8th graders.
Christmas Pageant Breakfast: On December 20th, the 8th graders will enjoy a hot breakfast to celebrate their Christmas Pageant.
Please make sure that the Winter Uniform is being worn every day.

The placement test for your high school choices and any scholarship opportunities will be given in our classroom on September 27, 2023--Wednesday. Please make sure that you are in attendance that day. It is very important for you to be there. Please have #2 pencils and snacks. The test will be 3 hours long. You will not have any other classes that morning. Please know the three high schools to which you want your scores to be sent.
Tuesday is a $2.00 Dress Down Day. If you are not sure of the dress code, ASK!
No ripped jeans, crop tops, etc.....

Welcome to 8th grade! I hope that Summer was good for you and your families! It is time to begin the last of your years here at Saint Laurence School. This year is going to fly by so quickly! Letś make it a wonderful year! I am looking forward to seeing you all on Monday!
Please bring with you on Monday a printed copy of your Summer Reading assignment and your Math assignment. These will be your first grades of Trimester 1. Also, please have all of your supplies!
I will be posting a copy of the Handbook on this site soon! Until then, please pay attention to some of our basic rules. Do not bring to school Air Buds of any kind. Wireless earphones are not allowed. Any kind of Smart Watch should be left at home as well. Please check your earrings: only one pair in your ears only. Please make sure that any artificial nails are light in color with no fancy designs. I did make you aware of some changes to the handbook in June. They are effective immediately.
