A major source of income for Georgia is tourism, which is well supported by the country's government as they have increased construction of entertainment parks, hotels, and resorts. The country's nature and cultural history are popular amongst tourists although many proper facilities reside near the capital and resort areas. The World Bank; however, has acknowledged this and strives towards preservation of nature and cultural heritage, they are also progressing on finalizing or improving the development of  tourist resorts such as Batumi and Kobuleti.
