Hello everyone,

My name is Jake Booth and this is my ninth year working in some capacity in a school environment. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. After college I began working as a substitute and found that I was good at gaining rapport quickly with students and showing them how to do things that I knew how to do. My wife and I moved to Indianapolis where I worked as an assistant teacher for four years at a Montessori school. My time there was wonderful and I was able to truly learn how to teach from the lead teacher in our classroom. When we moved to Pennsylvania, I worked for a year at Wayne Elementary School before covid hit, and then decided to go back for my teaching certification. I have found a nice home here at Saint Eugene’s and look forward to the school year. Currently I have three small children ages five, two, and five months. I also have a beautiful wife that takes care of all of us.
