Welcome to 6th Grade

My name is Miss Tara McBlain and I am very excited to begin my middle school teaching experience at Saint Eugene School. Previously, I taught Kindergarten for three years and was a Pre-K/Kindergarten Aide for one year. This year, myself, guardians, and students will be working together to embrace education and all that it has to offer. I am most looking forward to novel studies and really diving into what life lessons students can learn from these incredible stories. 

Throughout the year, I look forward to learning about my students' interests and how we can use that in our classroom. It is important that everyone understands that we are a community of learners who will support each other, faculty and staff included. I look forward to witnessing students grow developmentally, academically, socially, and spiritually over the course of the year.

Our classroom is always looking for exciting activities, especially during indoor recess. If you are able, we would appreciate gently used games such as Monopoly, Sorry, etc. We appreciate your support in advance!
