Physical Education Class Overview (PK–8th Grade)
In Physical Education, students will participate in a variety of activities designed to help them develop their movement skills, coordination, balance, strength, and overall fitness. From learning basic movement skills in the younger grades to trying different sports, and game strategies in the older grades, students will have opportunities to learn and grow at every level.
Throughout PK–8th grade, students will be introduced to a variety of activities that encourage healthy habits, problem-solving, and an understanding of the importance of staying active.
Meet Miss Dussell!
Hi everyone! My name is Miss Dussell, and I’m so excited to be your Physical Education teacher! This is my first year as a gym teacher, and I’m very excited to begin this exciting journey with all of you!
I’ve always loved being active, fitness, and working with children, which inspired me to pursue a career in education. I love creating a fun, positive environment where everyone feels encouraged to try their best, learn new skills, and challenge themselves.
This year, I’m looking forward to playing new games, teaching different sports and activities, and watching my students grow in confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship. My goal is to make gym class a place where everyone feels included, and has fun! I can’t wait to have an amazing year with you all!
