This is the Crusty Crab, which we have used during our regional and state competitions. This robot is a box robot that allows us to easily put on interchangeable attachments. The top of this robot has a gear that connects to a motor that allows this robot to have moving arms and attachments. This robot also has two other motors that are both used in the wheels. The wheels this robot uses are medium Spike Prime wheels from the Spike Prime set. The robot has two color sensors to detect black and white to tell where it is going. The problems this robot had include holes inside of the box making it to that sliding on attachments was harder than usual. These holes also made The robot get stuck on different missions on the board.
This attachment is a box robot frame and has a smaller modules allowing interchangeable modules to be quickly changed.
This is one of our modules. This module drops the krill into the orca's mouth. The robot will drive forward into the orca, which will cause the lower part to make the orange part dump out the krill into the orca's mouth. The stick at the bottom of the module will push the orca's mouth open.
This is another one of our attachments. This attachment is a box so that it can be switched with other modules quickly.
