• REMINDER: Parents of our 2nd grade students who are parishioners of St. Bernadette Church, please note that there is an informational meeting for those students receiving the Sacrament of Reconciliation here at St. Bernadette on Monday, September 21 at 6:00 pm in the church. 

• 📣 Calling All 6th & 7th Grade Parents! Mrs. Danielle Marie will host an informational meeting (for anyone not signed up) on September 23 at 5:45 p.m. for our upcoming WorldStrides trip to Boston! If you’ve missed the previous meetings, it’s not too late to join us! This is an incredible opportunity for your child to travel, learn, make memories, and experience Boston with their friends. Anyone who attends the meeting and signs up (within four days) will receive a $75 parent meeting discount. 

• Our first Snack Attack/Panda Pride Day is this coming Friday, September 25! Students may wear jeans, any SBS-distributed T-shirt, and tennis shoes. Students may purchase one snack during big recess for $2. Please send your money in an envelope/ziploc bag labeled with your child's name, class code, and snack attack.  

• Beta Club is sponsoring a schoolwide Audubon Zoo's "Boo at the Zoo" candy drive to benefit Manning Family Children's Hospital from 9/14/26 to 9/28/26. One lucky SBS student who donates a bag of the approved candy will win 6 "Boo at the Zoo" tickets for this October event at the zoo. Specific candy brands are requested by the Audubon Zoo for animal safety (see the flyer below).

• 🏆 Beta Club: CONGRATS to all of our newly elected Beta officers!  Thanks to all members who participated!  All 4th-7th Beta Club members should have turned in their decorated "Boo at the Zoo" flyer.  Please donate 1 bag of candy for this cause as well. Beta online shirt orders are now closed, and shirts will be given as soon as they are ready. Anyone interested in the Beta Convention should have turned in the interest form this week. Any student turning in convention interest forms late will be eligible to participate in open, available spots. Return your form to Mrs. Drickamer ASAP. The next Beta meeting is Thurs., Oct. 8th until 4 PM.  All members should join the Beta Google Classroom (important info. spot).

• ♟️Chess Club: Our very first meeting will be held on September 25 at 7:30-7:50. Anyone in grades 3-7 is still able to join! All skill levels are welcome. Club shirts will be available for purchase at this time. We have extended our shirt order-- if you are interested in a chess club shirt and did not receive an order form, please use this link and turn it into the office by Monday, September 28. Shirts may be worn on club meeting days. All meetings will take place in Mrs. Pellegrin's classroom from 7:30-7:50. Please see the following dates for our meetings for the year: September 25, October 23, November 20, December 18, January 29, February 26, March 19, April 30, and May 14.
