Greetings!

My name is Sharon Brand and I am the art teacher here at Saint Benedict School. I have always been interested in art. As a teenager I studied art at Mount Saint Mary High School under the direction of Sr. Catherine. Her Studio class inspired me to pursue art further in college. I earned a BS in Art Education from Buffalo State College in 1982. The September after graduation I was hired to teach art at various Catholic schools in the Love Joy area of Buffalo. I have since been teaching art for over 30 years, the last 15 here at Saint Benedict School. I look forward to experiencing art with my upcoming students. Every year new and exciting adventures happen in art!
