Welcome to my classes!
My name is Elle Thomas. I have been a teacher at Saint Anthony Catholic School since 2014. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade religion, exploratory Spanish and World Cultures.
We are in formation to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation
We are learning and practicing the Virtues of Faith, Hope, and Charity
We are intentional learners about the life, mission, and saving work of Jesus Christ
We are strengthening our faith in the knowledge of, and Reverence of the Sacred Scripture
We are using our God given gifts to put faith into practice in service to others
We take an active role in planning and leading school masses, writing prayers for class devotionals, and making well wishes cards for prayer partners and members of our community.
We are encouraged to participate in open discussions, work in group activities and keep a daily reflection journal.
In my Spanish and World Cultures classes students learn about the beauty of different cultures, world languages and religions, and that diversity is essential for that beauty.
I believe that we can be a better neighbor to our brothers and sisters if we understand “their world” even just a little. I enjoy learning from my students, and being a part of their early education. I have the greatest satisfaction when they discover a new fact about our world and are excited about knowing it.
I pray that God continues to bless the work we are doing at Saint Anthony Catholic School and our community.
