I was born in DeKalb, IL and as a child moved to Pennsylvania and Florida. After getting married in 2003, my husband and I lived in various cities while he was in the Navy and finally settled in South Carolina to raise our family.  

Once my children enrolled at St. Anthony, I started helping out at the school, and happily discovered that I had a passion for teaching. After assisting in 3K with my two youngest children, I became a 4K teacher. 

I love watching children question their world and explore the answers through hands-on learning.  

In my spare time, I love to read historical fiction and travel.
