About Me

Music has always been a big part of my life - from playing piano and guitar in folk groups at church, clarinet and trumpet in highschool and college marching bands, singing in choirs, directing church choir, and finally, teaching general music 4 years in East Tennessee and 13 years at St. Anthony. I have always felt blessed that my career is also my passion!  In between my teaching years, my husband and I stayed busy raising our 4 children.  I recently entered the new role of “Gramma” for two baby girls!

I love my part-time job as music teacher for every student at St. Anthony. In the past 12 years, I have been able to watch the students come in as shy little toddlers and grow into confident, smart, creative and risk-taking individuals, who make a difference as they journey through high school and college.  I am proud to be a part of that.
