About the Teacher

Miss Howe loves teaching 2nd grade.  This will be her 27th year teaching 2nd grade at St. Anastasia School.  She feels blessed to be part of the Saint Anastasia School community.

Miss Howe received her M.A. in English and Elementary Education at Villanova University.  She received Master's at St. Joseph's University and is a Reading Specialist.  She loves both the Wildcats AND the Hawks (Nova Nation & THWND)!

Miss Howe loves spending time with her family and friends.  She especially loves her nephew, Craig (grade 10), her niece, Tessa (grade 9) and their new pup Frankie.

She loves watching ALL Philadelphia sports teams (Phillies, Flyers, Sixers and Eagles).  She especially loves the NCAA tournament and 'Nova basketball.  She likes music, reading, running and helping to coach the Saint Anastasia Track and Cross Country teams.

Her favorite foods are hamburgers, chicken, potatoes, asparagus, salad and Linvilla Apple Pie. She doesn't eat candy.  Her favorite season is Fall.  Her favorite athlete is Katie Ledecky.  Her favorite holidays are Easter and St. Patrick's Day and her favorite colors are green and black.
