Welcome to Kindergarten!

*If for some reason your child is going home with someone else, please send in a note or email. We are not permitted to release a child to anyone without parental permission.

*Kindergarten is dismissed at 3:15, which is before the rest of the school. For safety reasons, we also request that your child stays with you after dismissal. Please do not allow your child to run around or climb on trees and railings. A lot of buses and cars are pulling into the lot and older students will be leaving the building, so your cooperation in insuring a smooth and expedient dismissal is greatly appreciated.

*Please help your children be responsible for themselves by allowing them to pack their folders, schoolbags and doing their homework. This will allow them to develop a sense of responsibility, show them that THEY CAN DO IT... and boost their self esteem!

*Finally, please remember to sign-up for Constant Contact by clicking on the link on the front of the web page that says "parent e-mail communication." Once you click on the link, you do have to follow up and confirm your e-mail address from an e-mail sent to you. This is the only way you will be able to receive communication from the school.

*Please be aware that Kindergarten does not participate in Pretzel Sales. This will begin in first grade.

We have students with peanut allergies in Kindergarten this year. Therefore, we will be a peanut free Kindergarten for the year. Please make sure that your child's snacks do not contain peanut butter or peanuts. Since we do have an allergy table in the cafeteria, you may send in peanut butter for lunch, but all children will be required to wash their hands after eating lunch. Thank you for your help with this matter.
