Meet the Teachers

 Hi everyone! My name is Melissa Goldhorn and I am so excited for my 1st year teaching at St. Anastasia School! I graduated in December of 2021 from West Chester University for Early Childhood Education and Special Education and have been teaching for the last 2 years. I come from a big family and grew up in Media. I love singing, reading books, traveling, camping, hiking, and practicing my faith. I look forward to an exciting year ahead at St. Anastasia School!  

Welcome to 5th grade!  My name is Vera Fante. This will be my 4th year teaching 5th grade at St. Anastasia School. I  graduated from Widener University with a degree in psychology and obtained my PA Teaching Certification through Drexel University. I have a son at Marple Newtown High School and two daughters here at St. Anastasia. My husband, children, two dogs (Lacey and Rizzo), and I love spending time outdoors and especially love the beach.  I am so excited to begin the year and look forward to a great year full of learning, new adventures, and lots of laughter!

My name is Candida Davis and this is my second year teaching at St. Anastasia School! I have 20 years of teaching experience in the Philadelphia School District. I am a graduate of Bloomsburg University and have a Master's degree from Holy Family University. I enjoy spending time with my husband and three children. My youngest, Evan, is a fourth grader here at St. Anastasia. My family and I enjoy traveling and all things soccer. I am very excited to be a part of the St. Anastasia community and look forward to a great year of learning and fun!
