ABOUT MRS. MCRAE:
I was born in Des Moines, Iowa and moved to Tucson in 1998. I attended Desert Christian High School and then moved north to Flagstaff to attend Northern Arizona University, go Lumberjacks! While there, I earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Mathematics Education. I was a graduate teaching assistant for two years while earning my Master's, teaching College Algebra and Pre-Calculus. Then I returned to the Tucson area and found a position at Sahuarita High School! I have been teaching at SHS since 2014. You can see the courses I teach labeled on the tabs above, and I am the faculty advisor for the math club. Please contact me if you are interested in participating in or supporting the math club as we compete in local competitions. I recently was married on October 5, 2019, so you may find my name listed as Melissa Beal.
