Should we have a full width map or a sidebar with search/filter like generic browse?

Functionality:

View basic information about the event and bookmark it
View summary info about incidents associated with event
Bookmark and comment on incidents
View all resources/units associated with the incidents and/or with the event
View all tasks associated with the incidents and/or associated with the event and created for the events
view “stream” containing all posts and notifications related to event (alerts, comments, files, reports)
