Resources

Dear Families,

I am looking forward to a year of exciting learning and fun experiences with your child.

You are probably well aware that last year our school adopted the Common Core Math Modules. In my classroom, the children will be involved in many enjoyable Math activities. At times, your child might feel challenged. However, I am confident that your child will not only enjoy our Math period, but that he/she will achieve success. And of course, you play an important part in this success for your child in school.

Included in this letter is some information that I think will be helpful to you. Below you will also see a list of some easily accessible websites that you can visit that will help you with your child’s homework, and provide you with an outline of Second Grade expectations.
