Classroom Expectations

Living and Working Responsibly in 2JC

We respect each other by being kind in words and actions.

We play nicely with each other.

We help each other.

We are kind to each other.

We respect property

We put things away when we are done.

We take good care of things.

We use equipment and materials in a safe way.

We demonstrate cooperative behavior.

We follow directions when they are given.

We work together nicely in the classroom.

We use good manners.

We use words like please and thank you.

We wait our turn and try to be patient.

Recognition:

Individual tickets to be placed in individual treasure boxes.

Children can save or purchase from the school store on Friday’s from the 2JC School Store

The children will also be acknowledged with stickers, awards and praise!

Interventions and Consequences:

Children start the day with their treasure boxes on their desk.

We are encouraging the children to

 “Think with their heart!”

1. Warning

2.  Ticket box is removed.

3. Work Choice is removed.

4.  Parent/Guardian is called.
