I am a 2000 graduate of Monticello High School and a 2004 graduate of Eastern Illinois University. I obtained my master's degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2011 from EIU. This is my 17th year teaching at MHS, and I love teaching here and being a part of Monticello. I teach FACS Orientation, Foods, Parenting, Child Growth & Development, Adult Living, and Living Environments.
I am the FACS Club sponsor. FACS Club is the club associated with all Family And Consumer Sciences classes. We are an active club participating in socials, service projects, High-5 Friday, and of course, lots of eating!
My husband, Bryce McCleary, is a firefighter for the City of Decatur. Dustin is in 3rd grade at White Heath, Scarlett is in 2nd grade at White Heath, and Emme Grace is a kindergartner at Lincoln School.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, exercising, and traveling.
