HOW TO CHOOSE A MAJOR PROGRAM
Undecided about a major? Need help changing your major? Interested in the Academic Exploration major?
Knowledgeable staff in the Office of Academic Advising will help you choose a major program that matches your interests and skills. Guidance and one on one support is provided at each step. Students may stay in the academic exploration program up to the completion of 45 credit hours.
INDIVIDUALIZED ASSISTANCE PROVIDED
Students receive one one one help with Exploring Major Programs, Researching Careers & Job Trends, and Connecting with Campus Resources:
• Faculty: Faculty Advisors, Professors, and Course Instructors
• Office of Academic Advising staff (Major Programs, Student Planning, Advising & Registration, Graduation timeline)
• Career & Self Discovery Center staff (Career Counseling, Job Trends, Focus 2 Career Assessment)
Recommended: students declare their major prior to the start of the spring term of their Sophomore year. (This will help ensure you graduate on time).
