What is the Russell Sage College Student Government Association?
Unified during the 2020-2021 academic year, the Russell Sage College Student Government Association (SGA) works to represent student interests, organize campus events, allocate funding for student organizations, and serve as a liasion between students and administration. In addition, SGA serves as a platform for leadershipi development and student aadvocacy, proting divisity and engaging in civic responsibilities.

The Russell Sage College Student Government Association is open to all full time Undergraduate Students at Russell Sage College who pay an activities fee. It is comprise of 32 clubs, 3 ACES (Association for Campus Events) representing Albany, Troy, and Commuter, and the Executive Board.

Welcome Week- Held at the beginning of the academic year, this event introduces new students to campus life and includes a variety of activities such as orientation sessions, social gatherings, and informational events to help students transition to college.
Founders Day- A celebration honoring the history and legacy of Russell Sage College, typically featuring special events, lectures, and activities that pay tribute to the institution's founding and its impact on education.
Involvement Fair- A showcase of the college's 32 clubs and organizations, providing students with the opportunity to explore the various clubs, meet current members and sign up for clubs that match their interests.
SageFest- An annual campus event at Russell Sage College held on the Troy campus that celebrates school spirit and community. It caps off family weekend which takes place during the Fall Semester and is organized by the Office of Student Life and the Student Government Association. SageFest features a veriety of activities, including live music, food vendors, games, and entertainment, aimed at bringing students, faculty and their families together.
TailGator- Annual Fall semesterevent held on the Albany campus that coicides with Sage's athletic homes games. Organized by the Student Government Association, Tailgators brings together students, alumni, faculty, and staff for a day of school spirit, delicious BBQ'd food, and fun games.
