We are happy to host Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC) for their Kick-Off event for Week of the Young Child. This event is brought to us every year by National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). This event celebrates early learning, young children (birth through age 8), and the educators and families who support them. The 2026 celebration is particularly significant as it marks NAEYC's 100th anniversary and the 55th anniversary of the Week of the Young Child.

Our K–8 students may begin wearing “Spirit Attire” after the break as we transition into the warmer months and promote a more comfortable school day.
This year, there is a slight adjustment: students are still required to wear regular school uniform bottoms. Jeans, tights, leggings, and athletic shorts are not permitted.
Students may wear any SAE-branded shirts or tops, and they may also continue wearing their SAE polos if they prefer.
Students should also wear appropriate footwear each day.
Please note that Monday “Assembly Attire” will be discontinued until October.
Be sure to review the flyer for complete details!

Our competitive cheer program, Dragons Elite Cheer program is made up of 20 incredible athletes from first through sixth grade who practice multiple times a week, to not only learn tumbling, stunting, dance, and other competitive cheer skills, but also teamwork, discipline, and confidence. They learn to believe in themselves, support their teammates, and discover what they are capable of.
This is our program’s third season and we could not be more proud of what they have accomplished in such a short time. This season they have the opportunity to compete at an exciting event at Universal Studios in Orlando.
Your support will help us get there! More than anything, your support shows these athletes that their school community believes in them and is cheering them on.
We are selling bundtlet cakes from Nothing-Bundt-Cake for $8 each to help us raise money to cover our competition registration fee.
We will be accepting pre-orders from this form until Wednesday, April 8th.
You may pick-up your pre-orders on Friday, April 17th during Spring Dragon Festival on the Blue-Top (we will move indoors in the event of rain.)
Bundtlets are an indivually packaged cake about 4 inches in diameter, and 2-3 inches tall. They serve about 2 people each.
