Hello SAE Families,
Reminder there is no school next week Monday, February 13 - Friday, February 17, however, camp will be offered. School will resume Monday, February 20. Please click https://saeschool.wufoo.com/forms/xve00nv15os0je/ to register for camp. Also, continue to scroll down the page for other activities and upcoming events.
Reminders, Upcoming Events, Updates, and Important Dates:
Drop-off Updates - Starting Monday, February 20, all drop-offs BEFORE 7:30am (including K-8) must come to the Preschool Entrance (side door on the blue top). After 7:30am, normal drop-off for K-8 will resume at the front door.
K-8 Microwave Usage (Particularly Upper School) - Upon our return from the break, microwaves will no longer be available to students. They should bring a lunch that does not requiring heating. There are multiple reasons for this change. 1) More students are needing to use the microwave which then causes long lines and delays for lunch. 2) Due to the long lines, students are now coming into the office to use microwaves. 3) Some of the items, such as noodles, require hot water. Accidents could occur that may cause a student to be burned. 4) Teachers and staff, including the preschool staff (who have specific time constraints) need quick usage of the microwaves.
Parking - Please be sure not to pull up to the orange barriers to park and drop your child off. This causes a safety issue when you have back up to on-flowing traffic.
Black History Program Volunteers - We are looking for volunteers for the day of our K-8 Black History Program (Feb. 28). Not all details have been finalized but we know we will need a lot of hands. If you are available to help plan, decorate, assist with activities, have a resource for performers, or even story tellers, we would love to have you. Greetings SAE Family,
Let me first begin by saying Hiiiii, nice to meet you all and I cannot wait to connect with you in person. Let's start by giving you a little background on our company. We have spent years perfecting our craft and we have been blessed to be in business for over 8 years. My husband and I started this business in 2014. We started off as a bakery and after much success as a bakery in 2020 we integrated catering and event planning into our company. It’s 2023 and we’re moving on up…last year we added a dessert truck and this year we can't wait to see what's in store for us. We believe in the power of hard work and manifestation, so we know no limits! We create delicious and appealing confectionary treats while making beautiful memories by helping you celebrate life’s most precious moments and milestones. Our desserts are sure to leave a lasting impression on you and your guest. We contribute much of our success to our motto: “Quality over quantity” we give back to our community and source locally. All of our desserts, fillings, puree's and drinks are made fresh and in-house. Whether planning your next Wedding, Corporate Event, School event, Birthday party or Fundraising Gala we are here to make sure that each and every moment is unforgettable. Our desserts range from custom cake jars in unique flavors handcrafted by our chef, cupcakes, triple chocolate brownies, cookies, pies, cobblers, popcorn, cotton candy, fresh lemonade, apple cider, hot cocoa stations and much more. Our reviews speak for themselves, we are committed and ready to serve you! Like yourselves, we also have children who attend The SAE School so we are honored to be a part of this year’s fundraisers.
Our Valentines fundraiser will consist of two treat box options:
1. 6 count pack of chocolate covered Strawberries $20
2. Treat box- (1) Cake jar, (1) Triple Chocolate Brownie (1) Chocolate covered pretzel and Oreo mixture, (1) Popcorn mix $36

The Alliance Theater is offering 50% of ALL TICKETS, the ENTIRE season at the Alliance for The SAE School staff, family and friends.
We recently completed a 5 year comprehensive survey with other major Regional theaters and higher education that showed children who attended Theatre performances in their formative years had higher literacy rates, stronger cognitive skills and conflict resolution, lower rates of depression. This is attributed to an increase in their capacity to IMAGINE, to be hopeful and talk with peers about a world they want to belong in.
Our current show that I directed EVERYBODY is running now, but we have a ton of family programming happening and a remount of the sold out THE INCREDIBLE BOOK EATING BOY
Thanks for all you do and I’ll see you soon!
