Unaek - Abstract
Sometimes when I am quite enough, in a state of silence and receptivity, I may receive a musical idea. It could be a Drum beat, Synth Line, Bass line, Chord Progression or Melody. In these states of mind, I've captured some of these ideas and programmed them into my Machines using the programming languages, Step-sequencing and Looping. These recordings are live performances of me recording myself creating music alone in my bedroom. I designed and drew the Logo for my Artist Name. Some Artist that Inspire me are Aphex Twin and John Frusciante. The objective was to take the sounds I hear in my head and make music.

Process
All song were recorded live with no overdubs, using the hardware synths and drum machine you can see in the image below :)
A box full of Batteries I used In my Zoom H8 Recording device this year.
While recording this music, using a physical sheet of paper of the Hertz Frequencies across the Piano. I was able to tune the kick drum of my drum machine, to the key of the song I was playing in; For Example in the Key of D minor, I would tune the kick drum to D (73Hz).

I had a lot of fun making this Music and designing the Art for the logo! The process was always fun and enjoyable. Delivering the line of work for this exhibition with a deadline and due dates was really Humbling and reminded me where I am at in my process. I realised again throughout the trimester that creativity comes naturally. I also realised that, it will take time and experience to create music autonomously in a DAW like Ableton. Making music requires a lot of patiences and perseverance in order to Write/Compose, Arrange, Produce, Mix and Master and then deliver to an audience.
