Checking the Kit
Take note of the way the kit was found by taking a photo before the start of you booking. This is useful as a reference for later.
It is important to notify the tech department as soon as you see a problem with the kit. this includes broken or missing parts.
When tightening screws on the camera, do not over-tighten as this can cause breakage.
Building the Camera
Set up tripod on a level surface and remove the baseplate and shoulder mount from their kits
Take camera out of case and attach the viewfinder into the dedicated mount. Tighten by pulling front lever down.
Lock shoulder mount to the camera body and slide baseplate (facing down) to the shoulder mount.
Mount the built camera body to the tripod in the allocated slot by pulling the quick release all the way back and resting it into place and letting go of the quick release. Once the camera is level and does not detach from the tripod, you can remove your hands from it.
Remove lens cap by rotating lens cap fastener anti-clockwise. The cap should come out easily. When attaching lens, place lens on camera body and tighten the lens cap fastener.
Viewfinder slot. Pull lever down to lock into place.
Baseplate with shoulder mount
Quick Release. To use, pull down on the green handle and swing 90 degrees. Let go once camera is mounted.
