Angelina Carsini

Hi, I’m Angelina! I’m a psychology major aiming to go into clinical psychology, preferably working within a school or private practice! I love cats, working out, and I’m super excited to serve as this year’s President!

Hey everyone, I’m excited to be your officer of outreach! I’m an aspiring lawyer who wants to work in criminal litigation. I love psych cause of how applicable it is. A fun fact about me is I love to dance, I do a lot in hip hop and choreography.

Hey everyone! My name is Amelie and I’m serving as this year’s officer of administration. I’m majoring in psychology with the intent of heading to law school after undergrad. In my free time, I love listening to music and attending concerts.

My name is Cody and I will be your officer of finance this year! I spent 13 years in the workforce as a CPA and CFE, but I am excited to now be pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. In my free time, i enjoy game nights with friends, sports of all varieties, and planning hiking trips all around the world!!

Hey! My name is Avalynne and I will be your officer of publicity this year. I’m majoring in psychology and theatre arts, planning to work towards becoming a LPCC as well as an actress! I love reading, writing, photography and music.

I graduated with a B.A. (2004) in Psychology (Binghamton University) and then with Master's (2008) and Doctorate (2011) degrees in Psychology/Program in Behavioral Neuroscience from Rutgers University. My main areas of interest are Learning, Memory, and Stress & Health. I worked as postdoctoral scholar at UCI in the Center for Neurobiology of Learning and Memory from 2011-2016 where I conducted research on how inflammation affects neural circuits, gene expression, and cognition. I am a tenured full-time faculty member in the Psychology Department here at Saddleback (as of Fall 2019). When I'm not teaching or thinking about the brain and behavior I enjoy reading, west coast swing dancing, cooking, camping, and going to Disneyland :)
